Brad Pluth and Adventure Golf Academy Welcome You!
Brad Pluth, PGA Certified Director of Instruction, GSEM, and ACE Personal Trainer, IYAC Certified Youth Fitness Specialist, and TPI Certified Golf Fitness Professional operates his Academy at Halla Greens in Chanhassen and is the owner of Adventure Golf Academy. Brad specializes in customizing interactive learning experiences for individuals and groups for all ages and ability levels. He believes in making training fun and interactive while continuing to safely assess and measure improvement.
He conducts winters lessons at Inside Edge in Eden Prairie, The Golf Zone in Chaska and personal training at Chanhassen and Chaska Recreation Centers along with in-home training on a limited basis.
Brad believes that given the correct information in an organized manner, people can learn anything! The golf stroke is a series of motions that must be learned and understood, then performed in the correct sequence. Communicating this knowledge in the proper sequence in a safe, fun, learning environment is the key to becoming fit and becoming the golfer you've dreamed of.
Brad is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Professional and Body Balance Certified Professional. He believes there is not just one correct way to swing rather trillions of correct ways to swing and your best way to hit a golf ball is based on what you're body is capable of doing. He believes that training mobility, stability, flexibility, strength and stamina will allow the student to play to their potential and pain free.
Brad and his staff believe there are five ways to improve at the game of golf and we are prepared to help you develop your whole game. Most people think of golf lessons as a swing assessment and drills to do in order to change your swing. While that is important, we train our students to practice like they play and take a holistic approach to coaching. We start by sitting down and talking about why you play golf, what your goals are and how much time you are willing to commit to improving. We then conduct a TPI Physical Assessment because we believe that there is no one perfect swing but there is a perfect swing for the individual and that is based on what you are physically capable of doing. We will also assess your equipment and make sure it compliments your motions, not complicate it. We provide putter fittings for Coutour Golf and PING, iron and driver fittings for Callaway, Mizuno, Nike, PING and US Kids Golf. We will then create a program for you to improve based on your goals, your body and your time commitment. If you're not satisfied after the lesson, you will not pay!
Adventure Golf Academy provides introductory golf classes in 40+ elementary and middle schools throughout Minnesota and continues to grow. Programs introduce juniors to golf in a safe, positive and fun environment along with delivering life skills (Respect, Creativity, Perseverance, and Choose Your Attitude).
